I think we can all agree that hockey players are tough. You’re not considered a good hockey player if you have a full set of teethe in your mouth. It’s like a badge of honor hockey players wear when they get hurt but still continue to play on. The most recent player to wear this badge was Zach Werenski of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Werenski took a puck to the face in the second period, but despite the brutal injury, he returned to the game in the third period.

What heart to come back only one period later after suffering a brutal injury like that. Unfortunately, the injury is going to prevent Werenski from playing any more games in the playoffs. Let's just all hope now for a speedy recovery.
