ESPN Is Expected To Fire Up To 100 On-Air Staffers

espn

Tough day for the World Wide Leader in sports, ESPN. One day you’re on top of the sports world mountain. The next day you’re firing up to 100 employees. In a day and age where people are cutting the cord on cable television and where people have live up-to-date coverage of sports at their fingertips on their mobile devices, ESPN apparently is feeling the heat. The re-precautions, unfortunately, are the loss of jobs for many well known on-air staffers.

What was Twitter saying about this one?

Shocking. Sad Sad day for a network that was the source for sports when I was growing up and brought us such classics like SportsCenter. Wish all the people and families affected by these layoffs well.
