Mascots can be seen doing some crazy things in order to make a scene and draw the fans attention. The most notorious for doing so is the Philadelphia Phillies mascot, the Philly Phanatic. The most recent mascot to go viral on social media is the Florida Gator. The Gator was caught saving a young fan from getting hit by a foul ball in a recent University of Florida baseball game.
