It can be pretty dangerous watching a live sporting event in person. There are signs posted alerting fans to pay attention because objects from the playing field could enter the stands at any time. The PA announcer comes over the loud speaker before every game warning the fans to pay attention to what is going on around them and on the field. This is especially true for baseball games as fans have been struck by foul balls and even baseball bats that have slipped out of players hands. What they don’t tell you, however, is that you might get struck by an object outside of the stadium like a stray bullet. Apparently yesterday, during a St. Louis Cardinals game, a fan was hit by a stray bullet. The shot apparently was fired outside of the stadium.
Let’s see what Twitter had to say about this incident.
CRAZY! A fan was shot by a bullet in her seat Tuesday night at the @Cardinals game.

"Wow I think I've been shot" is probably not what I would've said. https://t.co/Tls3SPT1kf

You can't fire a shot in the air in STL without it hitting a Cardinals fan.

Fortunately the woman who was grazed by the stray bullet is alright. But this is the last thing someone should be worried about when attending a baseball game. You should never, while watching a live sporting event in person, have to say "I think I've been shot." That is just crazy.
