With the Chicago Bears signing of Mike Glennon, trading the house to move up one draft pick to get Mitchell Trubisky, and no other teams seemingly showing any interest in him Jay Cutler is starting to see the writing on the wall. Word has gotten out that the former Bears quarterback is considering a career in broadcasting. News leaked that Cutler had flown out to Los Angeles and audition for a position with Fox.
Let’s see what Twitter had to say about this.
Sources: Jay Cutler exploring broadcast career. Has auditioned. Not yet retired from football but soon?

I think Jay Cutler would be good at TV. He's got a great honest streak — Jeff Van Gundy with better hair https://t.co/ItMZNJ0nAa

If Jay Cutler becomes a broadcaster, the station better have a "Deal With It" segment where he spits fire while smoking a cigarette.

If Jay Cutler did a "Don't Care" pass of the game similar to Gruden's "Gruden Grinder" it will be the greatest sports television of all time

Jessica Mendoza being a baseball analyst for ESPN, Donald Trump being elected President of the United States, Tim Tebow becoming a professional baseball player, Tony Romo being hired by CBS to be a broadcaster, and now this. Apparently it is official, Jay Cutler has been hired on by Fox to be a NFL broadcaster. What happened to needing a degree in your field of work? What happened to having some experience? What's next? Is Hughe Laurie going to be hired as a real medical doctor? Well at least Cutler can get some tips on how to act on TV from his wife. He does have that going for him.
