You never know what might run onto the field during a baseball game. Sometimes fans interupt the game by running onto the field, sometimes even naked. Other times, like during the Twins/Indians game this past weekend, a furry rodent makes its way onto the playing surface. A squirrel caused a four-minute-plus delay during the 6th inning on Saturday. The furry friend apparently just wanted to have a little fun at the ballpark.
Let’s see what Twitter was saying about this.
The Indians' rally squirrel is making the case for the greatest animal cameo in sports. https://t.co/osCoFxc2cR

If this means we divide the Indians 2017 season into pre- and post-squirrel, that offensive slump was totally worth it.

The Angels had the rally monkey now it appears as if the Indians have the rally squirrel. Looks like that guy who beats that damn drum out in left field to try and spark a rally might be looking for work.
