Eddie Lacy was a highly touted running back coming out of the University of Alabama. But while Lacy was with the Green Bay Packers he had trouble staying on the field because of issues with his weight. Knowing this troubled past, the Seattle Seahawks put an incentive in Lacy’s contract that he would earn $55k if he came into the offseason training camp weighing 255 pounds or less.
Let’s see what Twitter thought about Lacy’s weight clause incentive.

How many pounds could you lose in 24 hours if you knew you'd get $10K per pound lost? aka the Eddie Lacy game.

Imagine how many of your fellow cube monkeys would be highly motivated to put down the Twinkies and get their ass to the gym if they had this incentive built into their contracts. What a world we live in where you have to motivate professional athletes with incentives to stay in shape. Crazy.
