There Is Going To Be A Professional Flag Football League Featuring Michael Vick

Former NFL football player, Michael Vick, is coming back to the gridiron. No the Cleveland Browns didn’t sign Vick to be their quarterback. Vick is going to be playing in a professional flag football league. The American Flag Football League, which aims to launch eight league-owned franchises in 2018, is hosting a game featuring Vick and former NFL running back Justin Forsett at Avaya Stadium in San Jose, California, on June 27. The idea is being backed by financier Jeff Lewis, who thought, while watching his son play flag football last Fall, that there was a business to be had by organizing some of the world’s best athletes playing the game.

Let’s see what Twitter thinks about this pro flag football league.

Ice Cube is coming out with a professional 3-on-3 basketball league and now this. Not sure how this will work out. If it will take off or not. But one thing we do know. If it wasn’t hard enough to tackle Vick in the NFL, good luck to his competition that has to try and grab his flag. This should be very interesting.

Update: Probably not a good sign that the league currently only has 7 followers on Twitter. Not good.
