Celtics Pull-off The Upset Of The Century

averys-winning-triple-1

After losing the first two games in the Eastern Conference Finals on their home court and getting blown out by 44 points in game two, no one was giving the Boston Celtics any chance to even keep game 3 close, never-mind win it, especially since their best player, Isaiah Thomas, went down with an injury in game 2 and was ruled out for the remainder of the playoffs. The defending champs, Cleveland Cavaliers, came out strong in the first half and were up by 16 at halftime. The game looked like it was out of reach and about to get out of hand when the Cavs took a 21 point lead about halfway through the third quarter. But the Celtics ended up showing some fight and caught fire after that trimming the 21-point deficit to five going into the fourth. In the end, Avery Bradley hit a game-winning three-pointer with 0.1 seconds left on the clock to give the Celtics a stunning win.

Let’s see what Twitter had to say about this unbelievable win by the Celtics.

After the biggest loss in playoff history, the Celtics somehow managed to pull out the biggest upset in NBA playoff history. There was only one guy who actually saw this coming.
