Odell Beckham Jr. is no stranger when it comes to making headlines. Ever since the New York Giants star wide receiver set foot on a NFL field, he has attracted everyone’s attention. From his acrobatic catches. To his sideline outbursts. To his off field exploits. Odell is not one to disappoint when it comes to making stories worth writing and talking about. So it comes to no surprise that Nike wanted to endorse him. Recently Beckham Jr. signed a record deal with the athletic apparel company worth $25-$48 million, based on incentives. This now means that Nike actually pays Odell more money than the Giants do.

Let’s see what Twitter was chirping about on this.

First MJ. Then Tiger. Then Lebron. Now OBJ. One things for sure, this now gives Odell huge leverage when it comes time for free agency and negotiating his new contract to play for a team in the NFL. On top of the fact that he is one of the best, if not the best, receiver in the game today.
