An Atlanta Braves security guard is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Apparently last night at SunTrust Park during the Braves game a fan reached over and grabbed a ball that was still in play. A Braves security guard immediately ejected the fan from the game, which is the rule, so nothing wrong there. But then the security guard followed up that by taking the baseball away from the young boy who was given the ball. Very bad.
Let’s see what Twitter was saying about this move by the security guard.
ICYMI: A fan grabbed a fair ball and gave it to a kid ... and the kid had it taken away. https://t.co/dQHXMY95nU

@Braves it's great you guys are getting that kid an autographed ball, but how about letting security/ushers know they don't own the stadium?

#Braves Everything was going great until that security guard went all Barney Fife.

Good job @Braves for getting the kid a ball. Now teach the security guy to not swarm a family like Dwight Schrute on a band of pen thieves.

Security guy at the Braves game is a straight up dick... what kind of asshole takes a ball from a kid
— Rodney Penland (@RPENLAND12) May 25, 2017
Braves Security, I have your back. Dad shouldn't have touched them ball. The kid needs to know there's consequences for wrong doing.

@Braves please give that kid a ball. Poor decision by the security guard to take the ball from the kid.

This asshole security guy at @Braves game best give that kid the ball back. Gimme a break.

@Braves need to tell that security guard to give the ball back to that kid... that was uncalled for. Come on man.

Com'on man. You got to use some common sense. The Braves organization has since righted this wrong by giving the kid an autographed baseball.
