Mr Met Has Seen Enough Of The Mets And Apparently Can’t Take Anymore Of This Terrible Season

The first two months of the 2017 MLB season have been an absolute dumpster fire for the New York Mets. From all the injuries to key players. To the epic PR fail of DildoGate. To the Matt Harvey debacle. To now this. Apparently the Mets mascot, Mr. Met, has seen enough. It appears as if Mr. Met can’t take anymore of this disastrous season and he let everyone know that last night. During another awful game where the Mets ended up losing 7-1 to the Milwaukee Brewers, Mr. Met was caught on camera giving an obscene hand gesture to the fans as he walked down the tunnel to the locker-room. Let’s just say that Mr. Met wanted to let the fans know that they were #1.

Let’s see what Twitter had to say about Mr. Met flipping the bird to the fans.

The Mets organization has since taken action by firing the employee in the Mr. Met costume and issuing an apology for the obscene gesture. At this point Mets fans are left asking themselves "Can this season get any worse?" The way it's going it doesn't appear like it can. But Mets fans know anything is possible with their team. Here's what longtime Mets fan Frank Flemming, you probably know him from the viral New Jersey transit video from opening day, had to say about the Mr. Met incident.
