Jason Whitlock Is Not Making Too Many Friends In The African American Community These Days

Jason Whitlock went on FS1’s The Herd with Colin Cowherd yesterday and had some interesting comments to LeBron James’ house being vandalized the other day. Whitlock said James “needs to quit embracing his victimhood because he’s not a victim.” Whitlock went on to say “No matter how rich you are, no matter how famous you are, it’s tough being black in America — that is a lie. It’s not tough being Oprah Winfrey, it’s not tough being LeBron James.” Let’s just say these comments by Whitlock didn’t go over so well with the African American community.

Let’s see what Twitter thought of Whitlock’s comments.

At the heightened racial tension that our nation is in today these are absolutely the last comments someone should be making, regardless of race. Maybe LaVar Ball was right when he said that the only thing Whitlock should be commenting on are snacks.
