Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is making headlines in a good way. The second year quarterback is making the most out of his off-season. Wentz recently spent time with a kid named Lukas Kusters, a nine year old boy who is battling a tumor and cancer. Lukas has been fighting this sickness for about a year and a half. It was Lukas’ wish to be able to meet and hang out with Wentz. And Wentz being the stand-up guy that he is obliged. This is what Wentz had to say after spending the day with Lukas.
One of the most humbling experiences yesterday... see my tweet below/Instagram for details. I'll be praying for you Lukas and family! pic.twitter.com/MYO5WJ4waD

And people on Twitter took notice of Wentz's big heart.
Now you've done it. You've turned a NY'er into an Eagles fan... well a fan of their QB at least. Humbling. Inspirational. Prayers for Lukas.

With all the tragic news of athletes making poor decisions that we are flooded with on a daily basis, it's always uplifting to hear a story like this one. Thank you Carson Wentz for being a man of character and dedicating your time so that we can be introduced to the inspiration that is Lukas Kusters. Thoughts and prayers go out to Lukas and his family.
