When LeBron James left his hometown of Cleveland to go to the Miami Heat in order to pursue a NBA championship, Cleveland fans took it pretty rough. Fans burnt his jersey and pictures, like the one above, came out depicting how LeBron had quit on the city of Cleveland. Recently James opened up about how his mother and wife reacted to Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert’s open letter bashing the superstar after he left Ohio for the Heat in 2010. Apparently his family wasn’t accepting of LeBron’s decision to go back to Cleveland.
Let’s see what Twitter was saying about this recent news divulged by LeBron.

Interesting to hear LeBron James talk about how upset he was over Cavs owner Dan Gilbert writing that comic sans letter. pic.twitter.com/zVa6O74Ew1

LeBron is planting his 2nd Cleveland exit strategy. No other reason for this to come out now. Somebody's gotta go and it just might be him

Probably more of a fact that his family had come to love the beautiful area of South Beach rather than that they were upset over Cleveland's reaction to him leaving. Do you blame them? I would rather live in gorgeous Miami than dirty ole Cleveland any day. Either way this was probably a very tough decision for LeBron to go back after how he was treated when he had left.
