Dave Roberts Puts Reporter In A Body Bag

One of the best things about sports is when a reporter asks a dumb question in a press conference and the coach or player puts them on blast for it. Former football coach Bill Parcels was probably the most infamous for this very thing. Well we had ourselves another classic. The other day after the Los Angeles Dodgers walked-off to beat the Cincinnati Reds, a reporter pointed out to Dodgers manager Dave Roberts that all four walk-off wins have taken place at home this year. Roberts’ response is priceless.

Translation: “Thanks Captain Obvious.” No shit Sherlock all of the Dodgers walk-offs have just so happened to take place at Chavez Ravine. It’s darn near impossible to walk-it-off on the road. Actually it is impossible. We can chalk this one up to an honorable mention for ‘Mental Error Monday’. Not sure how this reporter is going to be able to bounce back from this one.
