Between innings during baseball games, teams’ marketing departments come up with various ideas and contests that they can perform in order to keep the fans attention. Over the weekend we had two of these contests take place that both involve the word ‘freeze’. The Atlanta Braves do a promotion called “Beat the Freeze” where they have a member from their grounds crew, Nigel Talton, dress in a Mr. Freeze costume and race a fan around the warning track in the outfield. The other contest is put on by the Memphis Redbirds and is called the Icee Chugging Contest where they have two fans compete against each other to see who can drink their Icee the fastest. Well each one of these contests recently gave us an epic result. Which one do you think was the worst freeze?

Or this one.
I can’t get enough of this kid’s brain freeze. So much pain, most pain that’s ever been felt pic.twitter.com/G1jnwwdTnJ

Me personally I think the pain of a brain freeze is worse than the embarrassment of losing a race right at the end while celebrating then falling flat on your face. Although even though the pain of a brain freeze far outweighs losing in such devastating fashion, the brain freeze eventually wears off after a little while but on the other hand the embarrassment of losing the race will stick with you a lot longer. So it’s a tough decision. But I would still go with the brain freeze cause those suckers hurt. Just look at the expression on that kid’s face and tell me I’m wrong.
