The University of Hawaii has given a 5th grader a college football scholarship. Yes you read that correctly. A 5th grader. This has to be the youngest football player to receive a D1 offer. Let’s see what people thought of this insane scholarship offer by Hawaii.

I couldnt imagine my son at 11 years old having the pressure of a major D1 scholarship offer. Baffling. https://t.co/7eLakNs7ux

The question is: who will be the first school to offer a child in the womb?

Jim Harbaugh has done some crazy things trying to recruit players to come to Michigan to play football since he became the head coach. But nothing he has done compares to this. This even beats the epic recruiting video by Lane Kiffin at FAU. I guess we now know why the University of Hawaii’s football program is terrible. Instead of scouting legit high school talent, they are recruiting 11 year olds. Wow.
