Will Grier Will Be Able To Start Right Away For West Virginia

WVU Football Will Grier

Former University of Florida quarterback Will Grier, who was suspended for a year by the NCAA for a positive PED test midway through his freshman season in 2015, is eligible to start for West Virginia at the start of this upcoming college football season. Grier transferred to West Virginia after the incident at Florida and it was unknown at the time if he would have to sit out a year because of NCAA transfer rules. However yesterday it was announced by West Virginia head coach Dana Holgorsen that in fact Grier will be eligible for the start of this season. Here is how the people reacted to this news.

This is great news for all the Mountaineer fans out there. But not so good news if you're a fan on any other school in the Big 12 Conference. This announcement immediately puts West Virginia in contention for the Big 12 Championship and also places them in the National Championship conversation.
